There is something essentially wrong with this thread - Scarlett's picture is missing.
Damn, not seeing her in semifinals just literally rips my heart in pieces of pieces, then mixes pieces with chicken pieces and makes world's most bizarre chicken salad.

Ok, i'll give it a shot at predicting this. Rooting for Kane and Major in the semifinals, since I want to see them in the final, that would be the most spectacular.
I'm actually happy that State plays vs Major, because i think Kane as zerg would've had big difficulties with State's forcefields, but Major can handle this easily (he has arguably better micro). That being said, I respect State a lot, he showed insanely strong play lately, but I just like Major more.
Kane 3-0 Masa, relatively easy wins Major 3-2 State, will have a very tough time vs State but still wins
Final: Kane 4-2 Major - although incredibly even matches, somehow Kane will have the edge with that great engagement. Major will have typical constant aggression and superb micro, but Kane will pull some aces from his sleeve (a very fungal situation?)
50bucks (5093 Japanese Yen, 100891 Colombian Peso) on Kane - he wins the tournament, with great difficulty vs MajOr.
------------ edit - lol no one will watch this since it's JD vs Hero next on IEM

anyone know the maps for the first series, or was everyone watching iem?
|

|

um not really sure if they switched things. i think there was a issue with lag so maybe. also sorry i shouldn't have made a big deal out of it or anything still it makes state's comeback more epic for it to be corrected.

Good job Masa, excellent reaper control
|
for the black box you should probably refresh the stream.

lol I thought this was the rebroadcast going on right now. Did they have technical issues or did State and Major just have long-ass games?

They waited for iem to be done, better to have the games casted in front of 500 people!

yay gogo masa now take out state

Come on State! Let's make the comeback!
|
Brown terran to close it out?

IS THIS THE BUILD?
THE BUILD.
|
And it doesn't quite work.
In case you're wondering what "the build" is, watch game 5 of this series (this post is meant for future SC fans/historians (I'm phrasing it this way because I don't know the name of the map)), and "THE BUILD" is where you proxy a Factory and then a StarPort (behind your opponent's expansion)(while constantly adding on Tech Labs) so that you can get Tanks and Banshees and just POUND the expansion.

is state playing from korea?
|
hmm. This LR isn't super lively.

well state already lost to it once from masa so he especially didn't want to lose to it the second time.

Didn't expect Masa to do this well. Pleasantly surprised.

Yeah, I guess I should've mentioned that but it looked like Destiny did that already.

That was the most anticlimactic final match I've ever seen...

Wow would have predicted State, Kane, or Major to beat Masa but well played by him for sure!

He's a very underrated player, mostly because he hasn't played any tournys in the past whether his choice of not participating or not getting any chances to (lans, invitationals)

Still well played by him hope to see him more in the future!

I would've predicted Hendralisk to crush face. Everyone else got lucky

Masa? Who?
What happened to Scarlett? I thought she was a lock to win this.
