Sadly, we can't have an all Protoss Ro16, cause Maru's group has only 1 Protoss victim, and group C has 3 Protoss players. :[ Looking forward to seeing the Zerg/Protoss race distribution at the Ro16 and Ro8. They're just being biased. When Protoss was doing well they kept pointing out how Protoss beyond MC never won a GSL. Then Seed won a GSL and then they said it doesn't count cause he was playing MC. Then Protoss was doing extremely well around the latter half of last year and they said well look at PL and how Protoss is losing the non-mirrored matchups on Meta. Then Artosis wanted to make a Terran Imba joke at IEM but that crashed and burned as all of the Terrans died and now they're on the whole trolling train. If this keeps up they'll just start saying Protoss have better players and that Terrans and Zergs need to use nydus more or something. | ||

All of their trolling last night seemed to suggest to me that they are very aware and not exactly happy about the current situation, Tasteless had a moment where he joked, "yea guys Starcraft is a game with 3 races but only one of them in the Ro16" that seems to put their point very clearly. They're obviously making light out of all of it but I don't think that's because they don't think it's a problem, I think it's because they can't point to one thing as a problem like they could with the 1-1-1 to just pin all of it on. | ||

Conditions have also changed. It's much more accepted today that we get to speak our mind about the game, because, you know, everyone's a professional designer. When a game is popular you don't pop up and say "oh btw I wish they would fire a whole staff of people because I have a small complaint." | ||

They're obviously making light out of all of it but I don't think that's because they don't think it's a problem, I think it's because they can't point to one thing as a problem like they could with the 1-1-1 to just pin all of it on. i think it might also be that they're taking it a bit more lightly now cause they are both less involved with sc2 than they used to be. i don't think i even have to talk about Tasteless here, and Artosis is trying to transition over into Hearthstone (or maybe i should say he's transitioning over but keeping a foot in the sc2 door in case it turns out Hearthstone is not actually gonna be an e-sport) pluse he has a kid now. it's only natural that while they do care about these developments, it doesn't exactly mess up their week. | ||
