Jaedong plays his ZvT overly aggressive, sometimes even sloppily. He engages head on with mutalisks too much and is forced to spend huge amounts of gas rebuilding his muta count while terran pulls ahead in upgrades and tech. Patience is the key to ling/muta vs bio, you have to pick your engagements carefully. With JD, every time he plays a good terran, it looks kind of like a losing fight as he wastes mutalisks and falls further and further behind, unless he can overpower his opponent with sheer speed and macro. His ZvT just is not very good. Look at how someone like Scarlett will always take great care of her muta flock and only engage in favourable positions, look at how Life used to play this match up. As much of a JD fan as I am, it is brutally clear from watching him play ZvT in SC2 that he just doesn't quite get the match up. | ||
