Oh trot does have an aligulac, he's just been marked inactive for a long time. I counted him as having an 800 rating lol.
For future reference, we use 1200 starting rating for Koreans and 1000 for foreigners, should you need to predict results for people not in our database. ^^

The venue decided they would change the rules on who/how to get in last minute. I'm currently the only staff member on site as apparently I'm a magician or someshit and bypassed all the new rules, so there _could_ be a delay in going live.
Will keep you updated, but at the moment it doesn't look so good.
EDIT: The whole gang just arrived, hopefully no delay ^_^

Since you are only sending a clean feed to the community casters, will both opening games be streamed, or do we have to wait on official updates on the second series?
zealot/stalker/MSC pressure into stargate play. Still no agression possible for Terran. And then Polt is behind in ups and tech, even in economy. Welp total ownage. GG herO!

Yup. I guess i'm in the minority here, but that's why I never liked tasteosis.
Yeah... When I want to watch SC2, I don't want to watch tastosis. They are clever and funny, but I'd rather listen to the Korean casters or mute them when watching GSL. I'll turn them on between games and watch their personal videos and shows though

how can someone deal with that ? more scouting ?
Its not about scouting u know its coming. You just have to defend it

Personally I prefer tastosis to this particular combo because I really like casters that can hype a game that is really bad, or at least make it entertaining, otherwise I probably won't even bother watching that game. I don't like tastosis that much though because they're incessantly negative, especially Artosis who is super biased.
that was a really fun game. herO threw everything against Polt that makes me mad when laddering against Protoss (oracles, stormdrops, mass zealots reinforcements to win lost fights) but Polt survived and came out ahead everytime. Well done!
Unbelievable. Polt made TvP looked so easy. 1st drop killed tons of probes. 2nd drop took apart the natural with Vikings hitting the Colossi while a backup army simultaneously killed off the 3rd. GG.

I don't think the harassment was good at all. Abomb killed a couple of addons and 30 scvs, yes, but he lost four immortals and Major was on 4cc already.

It looks to me like Abomb doesn't know exactly how to beat mech. I think the harass was a good idea, but its definetly not good to lose your harassing units.

he had no idea about the early third. To him the trades probably seemed good given the information he had. They were very cost effective but alas, it didn't matter

Not all of it, looks like they're using the sponsor graphics and upgrade countdown, that's it. The rest looks like the standard ESL overlay.

Damn, and I was having such a good time, enjoying the games, and then that happens... I shall close my eyes and pretend it was a bad dream, and when I open them again Bbyong shall be victorious.
WP AbomB. Korean terrans mostly are so bad vs Protoss. I will definitely not get Bbyong next FPL, he failed me last FPL already. I thought he was a promising player pre FPL as he had a few good results at that time, but he just fails to deliver atm.

Abomb has pretty good PvT, and Bbyong played bad. Nothing else to say. The whining is so pathetic, there was literally nothing OP in that series. As a terran player I have problems with the match up but the whining is just ridiculous at this point

ABomBs best is PvZ, a shame we didn't get to see it yet. PvP is usually his worst so I'm a "bit" worried going up against MC. But hey if you can beat a Code-S Terran, why not.

There was never a doubt in my mind though, Bbyong is Code S level, in the sense he always manages to make it back to Code S, but kind of drops out after that.
Whatever I may have said about AbomB being a slightly weird invite, I´ll take that back. GG AbomB.
At people who blame it on balance: We are talking about the same Bbyong, who 2-0ed Squirtle, eMotion and herO in the qualifiers. If anything is the cause of this, it is probably Bbyongs nerves and we can´t really blame AbomB for them. We can just congratulate him on staying calm and using the mistakes of his opponent.

I would actually argue CJ's has been far worse because of the expectations and talent on the roster. Nobody expects Prime to perform well. CJ has been a woeful disappointment. And they've lost matches in some heartbreaking ways.

Ya seriously, CJ was predicted as a contender and possible 2nd best team behind SKT during the preseason. This Proleague round 1 was just frustrating as all hell to experience.
But hey, if herO wins IEM CJ fans can rejoice :D GG's from ABomb though, he looked so happy to win that match against Bbyong. Bbyong's TvP isn't really his best matchup, I would say TvT is probably his best. but they were GG's either way

you cannot be serious that Jjakji and Polt are pitted against each-other in the quart? wtf and there is no losers bracket, this is why you always have a losers bracket. fml

I remember a Korean weekly where jjakji won 3-0 over Polt in exactly the same way: being aggressive against Polt's happy, mostly predictable macro play.

Still 1/1 on Bio.
Not a big deal then, 2/2 would've been a lot worse I feel.
Polt is playing very well right now though. But the 160+ supply push will be very hard to hold, think he has to threaten counter attack and delay it.
Jjakji using the mobility of the hellions instead of hellbats is a great way to counter-act the bio. And with the Viking support he really zones out the bio to take out the tanks easily. Great TvT by Jjakji I must say.
Go on JJ, take it all and grab the 100k later as well. Glad you're out of Korea finally and no more a forgotten champ of GSL. Protoss in the semi, you can do it for sure.

Why does it seem like almost every non-Korean tournament plays dubstep exclusively during breaks? I don't mind it much, but it would be great to get more rock, maybe even some mellow stuff, any SCBW/SC2 songs more often. Have some diversity for chrissake.

Wouldn't be too surprised if it was something to do with copyrights cause most rock and mellow songs tend to require a license, while a good deal of dubstep is given for free, but I could be wrong.

It means that the only music they like and is free happens to be dubstep. They should take a page from TB and fgc and just use video game music if they want something different.
Or go the GOM route and pick some random and relatively obscure rock
At least their songs stick and scream SC2 in your mind whenever you hear them.
