With Intel Extreme Masters Cologne coming up in February, it's time for the participants to be determined. Two players will have the Chance to qualify online again!
Two of the best players from Asia will qualify for Cologne. You must advance through 2 stages to do so. See how below for Korea, Taiwan and Japan.
Restrictions
- You must be located in Korea, Taiwan, Japan or having the nationality of one of the countries at the time of Stage 1 to be able to participate.
- You must be at least 16 years of age by February 13th 2014 (the date of the LAN event)
- Hotel and flight cost are paid for in full by ESL.

In a Best of 3 map veto (removal and pick) system is used. The high seeded player(seeds can be found at round 1 on the grid page) decides who starts. Players take it in turn removing maps until only 3 maps remain in a best of 3. Then each player picks a map. Maps are played in order they are picked. The remaining map is played last.

These quals are going to be absolutely ridiculous. Somehow a CJ player will probably make it, undoubtedly by knocking out Life and, ahem, Roro in the process. Which would be very sad.

We're trying to log on to cast it, however, with the patch yesterday and our Clients refusing to let us log on without updating, i'm having a really hard time logging on KR servers.
I tried logging directly on to the KR server from the Battle.net app WITHOUT patching and it refused to let me on until I patched.

Not for lack of trying, but I'm going to call #cursed on this one. I can connect to KR server but can not connect to any streaming servers from Xsplit/FFsplit/Obs at the moment (assuming it's ISP related). Best of luck to Kaelaris on getting things fixed in the ESL studio T___T! (I'll have to continue my bad sleeping patterns and SC2 addiction another day)
