The allmighty general ties it up against Snute. 1-1 now, last game coming up shortly on KnowMe´s stream.

I'm so pissed off about WCS AM, they really do try hard to make it as awful as possible don't they?
RIP Starcraft scene in the UK. Defeated by EG money and Swedish Zergs.

Let your rage out in an upcoming WCS AM threat, the chance, that they read it there is probably higher.

Yes. Best thing is to let them (NASL and Blizzard) know how you feel about it. Try to tweet at them. If a lot of people do it, they might realize that they made a mistake

So they're casting it from replay the day after? They really expect the results to stay hidden for 24 hours?

Yeah, it never worked in the past, I don´t know, why they would expect it to be different this time. Also since the bracket does´nt get released, it denies results for LP/aligulac and stuff. I really don´t know, who exactly benefits from it tbh., the players get less exposure, and I would bet, the stream has less viewers for less time.

It's clear who it benefits: NASL

By withholding the results, they can cast more of the games and spread the viewership out longer. Otherwise, they wouldn't be able to cast many games, which would be otherwise lost viewership to them (of course, community casters could have casted the other matches simultaneously, but NASL would lose revenue).

Business as usual

Hahaha what?! They want to broadcast the China qualifiers on January 14th?!! They happened a few days ago! They want to broadcast replays where the results have been known for over a fortnight! Good grief, it's a farce.

I´m not even sure about that. WCS EU is streaming the whole day with 10k viewers, I don´t think, replays from a qualifier that is highly likely to be leaked can reach that Viewers*Hours numbers, even if they spread it out further.

And to think that people actually wanted NASL to have WCS. The irony is great.

It can't. They're shooting themselves in the foot. Again. Like every single WCS AM season so far.

Well, that was a shame that they couldn't broadcast live, but that's part of the issue. It's better to broadcast in English late than never, but at the same time the results being known already deflates the hype.

On the other hand, if they had tried to hide the results, people would also not be happy about it.

If they had let the community cast them it would've been fine. The problem occurs when they become greedy money grabbing fuckwits and try and hide everything to themselves.

ultras have very little to do with his loss

If he had gone mass muta or SH he would have had a solid chance of taking that. Remaking ultras over and over is suicide.

once agan, he didnt lost because of his unit compostion, but because of his inabillity to get up a fifth base. his ultras actually traded very evenly which is obviously good for a ZvP

No, that's not quite how it works. Ultras cannot protect outlying bases, especially on huge maps, this is one the reasons why they are bad. Mass muta can pressure, expand behind it and outmine the protoss while keeping them busy. His inability to secure a fifth is directly tied to making ultras. Trading well when you cannot secure at least even bases because your units are slow and cumbersome is not a good thing.

Can't complain about that.
Maru and Serral are probably top 5.
