I think most people aren't treating them like unworthy garbage.
I thought so aswell, a lot of people were quite happy Marinelord/Lambo etc made it this far.. feeling sad that for example Marinelord lost doesnt mean we hate his opponent..
Yeah I mean I'm sad some of their accomplishments are being belittled because they're protoss, but I don't think that's a majority.
Well based on how we treated the so-called "patchzergs", you're wrong.
I still think it's one of the biggest travesties of 2012.
Patchzerg was to a minor extend justified
It was perfectly justified. Accomplishments of many players were owed purely to Blizzards refusal to do their job and balancing the game.
Like with plenty of terrans (who had by far the longest periods of dominance/imbalance in WoL) in WoL and early HotS. What goes around comes around. Tbh it's about time that protoss have a period of dominance..

He is not old enough. I believe he is still 15, so he cant participate yet
Such a shame with him and Heromarine Germany aint looking to shabby in the coming year
Just need a good zerg and Germany should be set.
Yep
Somewhere, TLO is crying.
Thread of the Day!
GG Lambo, was keeping an eye on him since Playhem times.
Oh, another balance whining thread coming up, just what we need!
I'm thrilled to see new players conquering SC2, not so thrilled to see old established names being sore losers. Hopefully they can get back tomorrow and prove their mettle against some non-patch Koreans.

So, why are these players all still around, when they were just "patchzergs"?
"Those" players may be around but their patch-zerg era results are not. And no - I don't mean Stephano/Sacralett/Nerchio.
I know, that you probably mean other guys than those. But the guys, who were mostly accused of being a "patchzerg" are also still active. Vortix is still Premier (and rightly so, he is a beast). SortOf played beatiful games against Jjakji in the first qualifier and made it through the second. sLivko made it to premier in HotS. Those are the guys, who were accused of being "patchzergs" the most and none of them has fallen of.
Lamboking <3 All in all an awesome qualifier, lots of good games! Kind of funny that the 'usual' germans like Socke/Tarrantius etc didnt made it through but Lambo/Hero did.

He is really good, a pleasure to see. I wish him best of luck in CL
Really interested in seeing this Lambo zerg play. I mean shit, I don't think I've ever heard of him before but he was very impressive this qualifier. Congrats Lambo!

Germans fighting!
Well, Hero is the current EPS champion, he is pretty much one of the "usual germans" by now.

Heh, true that. The fact he won EPS somehow eluded my mind^^ I hope Heromarine goes directly into premier!
