Unfortunately this is exactly what is actually happening, people (even players) cry balance but a nice chunk of that is because they don't know who these players are.

Well based on how we treated the so-called "patchzergs", you're wrong.
I still think it's one of the biggest travesties of 2012.

So, what you are saying is: KTMarineLorD incoming? More about #protossed but KTMarineLorD fits him well too.

also i didn't say anything about a majority, but toxic attitudes tend to be louder than reasonable ones

Patchzerg was to a minor extend justified, but in my view there is no reason to start a patchtoss thing. #protossed is more of a joke for me because of how suddenly they can turn fights arround . I dont think the Protoss players today qualified because they played Protoss but rather because they played good. Some people just cannot win vs a certain race, see Innovations TvT, MMAs PvT. Then they work hard on that matchup and become better..

Well every Zerg that ever won a series was called a patch-zerg. People who went muta/ling/bane were patch-zergs. Aggressive ling players were patch-zergs. yes there were some people who just turtle on 3 bases, get BL/Infestor and win. But that hasnt been done by everone
