I am sad that the best SPL player achievement means nothing to you.

Team leagues may not be everything, but it's undeniable that most of PL's top performers have become top performers in the individual leagues as well.

There are quite a number of players who have in the past not gone far in individual leagues yet they still held their own in PL. Sure, there is a strong correlation between success in individual leagues and team leagues, but we've seen a lot of variance and the opposite is also true. Like Dear and his performance in the GSTL (sure it's short) and he was coming off the back to back performance. You could say a player's performance becomes singular. As in, "Oh no, Flash has to prepare for the MSL and OSL Grand Finals and he's struggling in PL" etc. You could make certain arguments there just like, "Well Bisu failed to qualify again in the last round due to another hydra bust. Guess it's time for him to solely focus on winning his PL matches." Insert other excuses. I think you get the idea. As for RorO he wasn't even that good in the last PL to be honest. I think they were running on his last WoL run more than anything else and ofc they're only going to look at the players who played in Korea at the same time.
