In the US, if I'm not mistaken, you are de facto adult once you're 21 years old (buying alcohol). So legal adulthood varies from country to country. But physical and mental adulthood is a personal issue, and veries from person to person. Sixteen in not that much, actually. Neither is 18. The person is no longer a child, but in my opinion not an adult yet. | ||
