Bisu failed at SC2 and went back to BW, I'm not particularly impressed with him. Whatever his reasons, the game changed and he couldn't cut it. I've lost a massive amount of respect for him, even though I do understand why he did what he did.

What he did, specifically, we're nexus cancels which was different than the simply 2base 6gate pushes he was known for at the time and instead of unit production July kept over-making drones instead. Before the finals MC focused on pure 6gate timing pushes vs Zerg as well as blink pushes. He knew July was a BW old guard focused on consistent mechanics and specific scouting responses and because of that punished him for it.
If you want to whine about all-ins then whine about Boxer doing 3 bunker rushes in a row vs Yellow. MC punished greedy play with crisp force fields that no one else could replicate at that time.

Because he thought Bisu was good at BW because of hard work, but seeing Bisu not work hard in SC2 and then quitting changed that paradigm showing Bisu as lazy and depended on talent moreso than dedication and practice. It's understandable to lose respect of someone if everything you thought they were turned out to be a lie.

Well, they were atrocious to watch once you realized he stopped making probes while the nexus was building and you were just waiting for the game to end. Strategy wise it was excellent, but yeah.

Bisu has put in so much work and dedication why do you think he has a golden badge.
He barely goes outside and is socially awkward, If anything he deserves to have a real life now without constant pressure from a game that does not even motivate him.
He didn't ask for them to switch to a inferior game that he doesn't find as fun, with less popularity, less salary...etc
