Great to see Heart move on though. I think this is his best finish so far in WCS AM so hoping to see him advance further! Such a good night :D

Guess summer buff really is true, did not expect Heart to take a game off TaeJa, but practicing with INoVation, MMA and Ryung should give you amazing TvT.

Couldn't be more proud of Heart. The last few months have been really tough for him since he fell out of Premier league. He felt like he was slumping but instead of complaining and wallowing in it, he increased his practice and dug himself out with raw determination and discipline. His play in that match was surgical. Impeccable banshee control, excellent game sense and constantly taking the best engagements.

I come back and what looked like by far the weakest in the group makes the ro8. The sc2 world makes no sense lately xD

I think the actual violatiolity in SC2 is not related to the game. With players always playing so many matches hey are going to have off days which were hidden in the previous BW era. Taeja played awfully this game and that's that.

Never was a fan at all of TaeJa's cloak banshee openings, I think I've seen it win maybe a few times given how often he does it.

Oh well.

Yeah I been saying this a lot the last few months. He opens banshees (gas first usually) well over 75% of his TvT games now. It's very predictable and I see his opponents playing a much smarter opening against it with widow mines, ravens, turrets and handful of marines followed up with vikings. I feel like TaeJa always puts himself behind in the early mid game because of this. His banshees either do massive damage or more often than not, almost nothing. And then when his opponents open banshee he always would try to defend with like marines only for a while with a turret in the minerals. I was happy to see him try to use mines the last game, but he needed that first game more than this one.

I'm sad we won't be seeing another deep run this season, because he's one of the more interesting playing to watch for me.

That is completely awesome. Only saw the last game but he was very clean.

From the beginning of the day I could tell this was one of Taeja's off days. He was playing quite passive in the TvZ matches compared to what were used to. I was just hoping he could pull through the easier matches and have a better day next time. But nope, his play was really falling apart in the last 2 games. Just looked like he almost was okay to just go home, play challenger and be ready for Blizzcon, etc coming up.

For someone to GG that handily in their last game to move on or not.. must have been pretty content to just be done with this season.

Heart himself always had a good TvT, especially in one or two base situations with many different units.

It's all to add to the awkwardness. They can micro at an inhuman rate but can't keep their mind and legs in synch for the walking process.

And now quickly over to the Blizzcon probabilities thread...

... Aaaaand Taeja will still be at Blizzcon.

But Heart, if he wants in, still has to win the Season 3 Finals and the AM finals in Toronto. (Or hope some other people end in specific places.)
Yes, I email sponsors... to thank them. Don't post drunk, kids. My king, what has become of you?
