The sc2 world makes no sense lately xD I think the actual violatiolity in SC2 is not related to the game. With players always playing so many matches hey are going to have off days which were hidden in the previous BW era. Taeja played awfully this game and that's that.

Yeah I been saying this a lot the last few months. He opens banshees (gas first usually) well over 75% of his TvT games now. It's very predictable and I see his opponents playing a much smarter opening against it with widow mines, ravens, turrets and handful of marines followed up with vikings. I feel like TaeJa always puts himself behind in the early mid game because of this. His banshees either do massive damage or more often than not, almost nothing. And then when his opponents open banshee he always would try to defend with like marines only for a while with a turret in the minerals. I was happy to see him try to use mines the last game, but he needed that first game more than this one. I'm sad we won't be seeing another deep run this season, because he's one of the more interesting playing to watch for me.

He felt like he was slumping but instead of complaining and wallowing in it, he increased his practice and dug himself out with raw determination and discipline. That is completely awesome. Only saw the last game but he was very clean.

Impeccable banshee control, excellent game sense and constantly taking the best engagements. Ax-Acer FTW !!!!

From the beginning of the day I could tell this was one of Taeja's off days. He was playing quite passive in the TvZ matches compared to what were used to. I was just hoping he could pull through the easier matches and have a better day next time. But nope, his play was really falling apart in the last 2 games. Just looked like he almost was okay to just go home, play challenger and be ready for Blizzcon, etc coming up. For someone to GG that handily in their last game to move on or not.. must have been pretty content to just be done with this season.

Heart himself always had a good TvT, especially in one or two base situations with many different units.

... Aaaaand Taeja will still be at Blizzcon. But Heart, if he wants in, still has to win the Season 3 Finals and the AM finals in Toronto. (Or hope some other people end in specific places.)
