Taeja is going to blizzcon anyway. Forfeiting challenger is a good idea since his wrists were hurting. That's why he lost to jaedong. Taeja would outclass and outplay jaedong on any day except today. That loss and gains jaedong was 100% taejas mistakes.

lol. i was expecting a taeja 2-0, but i'm not shocked that jaedong won. taeja is elite right now but jaedong is a legitimate top zerg as well. i think you're definitely exaggerating the difference between the two players

That's pretty much how all my TvZ's go when the zerg all-ins, since I suck at scouting and reacting to it (usually lose hellions while not watching them, though getting better). It's very frustrating to see constant streams of lings and not realize just how far behind you are even if you recover. Say Major stabilized, it would still be about 90 to 50 supply in Sen's favor, though he'd probably have an upgrade advantage.

Yeah Jaedong and maybe bomber seem to be the two people I can think of that I honestly worry if Taeja can beat on an average day. Not sure why, but those two players seem to match his macro and TaeJa been shooting himself in the foot build order wise sometimes too. Banshee everytime and only doing damage like 10% of the time seems like a bad way to keep opening.. but then again when banshee play first came to meta, Taeja would often almost just win the game opening banshees except against polt's faster banshee opening.. which I think Taeja does now anyway (gas 1st, 6:10 banshee finish)

Yeah, the Power Rank is in utter disarray now. Bomber out in the Ro32, Innovation and Taeja out in Ro16. The best 3 Terrans in the world are all under-performing this season. Hell, the only Terran that has looked really good in this season's WCS so far has been MMA.

And fucking soO. Upset Bomber in the Ro32, then upset Innovation in the Ro16, then beat PartinG in the Ro8 (this wasn't too much of an upset), then upset Soulkey in the Ro4. He's quite the destabilizing force in WCS.
