But let me explain why this is, unfortunately, killing the viewship and the scene. Sc2 isn't getting any new fans anytime soon. And these kespa talent doesn't carry any old BW fans over. BW fans are still in bw scene since they hate sc2 so much. So what happens when kespa talents knock out old fan favors, is that fans of old times will simly move away from sc2 scene until their Heroes return. Now those like mkp neastea, MVP and seed, or leenock, jjakji and drg might not ever come back. Therefore, the sc2 will just keep on shrinking. No fresh blood in audience, new talents do more damage than contribution, especially when they are from kespa, that old fans find hard to connected due to the old "elephant in the room" drama. It's cold and unfair. This will particular hurt if there'd ever be a region lock. Just imagine that neastea MVP and mkp retire and Gsl is ruled by new kespa nobles. The key is how to attract new audience, to grow the fan base for the new talents. But that blizzard is so struggled in.

Yongwha Bomber Super Innovation Parting Soulkey Dear run> Supernova Supernova DRG Sleep Trap Maru Impressive if you ask me. Dear's last opponents were Maru-Trap-Sleep. 3 Races soO's last opponents were Innovation-Parting-Soulkey. What a Trifecta! Also 3 Races.

Now Maru's not going to hit the finals for another year then dominate with Macro play and people will eventually call him boring for winning all the time. So starting next year, Maru will dominate individual tournaments like Flash did. He will do it by splitting maps and waiting until his opponent's half runs out of minerals first.

In Ro16 he lost to Leenock, who got knocked out in Ro8 by Sniper. In Ro8 he lost to Inno, who got knocked out in Ro4 by HyuN In GSL 2013 S1 he afaik topped both groups and lost to TaeJa, who lost to Roro in next round. In WCS KR S1 Ro32 he lost to Flash, Flash proceeded to place last in Ro16 group. In WCS finals S1 he lost to sOs in Ro4, sOs placed 2nd :D In WCS KR S2 Ro32 he lost to YugiOh, YugiOh proceeded to lose to Flash and rematch against Soulkey. In Ro8 he lost to Inno, story is known. In WCS KR S3 Ro16 he lost to Sleep, Sleep proceeded to lose to Dear and rematch to Soulkey. In Ro4 he lost to soO, result is unknown yet. So, Soulkey is like anti-final-boss. If you beat him, you lose. :o Cool stats. Edit: It's kinda weird that there's been almost no acknowledgement of soO being a skilled player. Even Sniper, people admitted was playing well when he took the championship, and the list of players soO has gone through is probably more impressive than Sniper's.

At least then HyuN was a royal roader with some Fight Club hype, and Sniper made a slightly (more) interesting villain. Soon, we'll have to call either Dear or soO a GSL champion...Well, hopefully they don't follow the Seed/Sniper path of mid-tier Code S player -> GSL Champion -> mid-tier Code A player. :o Cool stats. Dear is Royal Roader actually.
