Would be nice to have Maru in EU. Hate to see MC getting easy money there ( like he always does ) MC didn't earn almost $400k easily. He's one of the rare players to be relevant for like 3 years. Actually MC won tournaments with heavily inflated price pools, so in that way it was a bit easier for him to earn so much. :p Just the open season really, I don't consider any of his other 1st place finishes to be inflated. Maybe some people would consider the 35k for the IEM WC to be inflated but keep in mind Mvp won 50k for Blizzcon, a tournament with only 2 Koreans in it. parting's BWC/WCG was probably the most inflated run, he beat one korean to get it haha

MC farmed a lot on foreign tournies, often not getting first but went deep. Most of Mvp's winning come from GSL and that Blizzcon.

Playing in EU is pretty expensive unless your team can pay for your travel expenses. mYi has a team house in Bern I am referring to Koreans from Korean teams like MKP. International travel for Ro16, Ro8 can get pretty expensive. They can have a partnership with europeans teams who have a teamhouse.
There doesn't seem to be much of that going on at the moment. European teams just sign the players instead.

Yeah the IEM was quite inflated, but also the NASL S1 pricepool was crazy, but that was a 2nd place finish in fairness, I just remember it being something crazy, like 25k for his 2nd place.

I mean Nestea had to beat every other player to win that GSL though, Parting literally won those tournaments by playing one Korean player. BWC was 100k.
