Void ray vs corruptor is a hard counter, +1 zealots vs 0 armor lings is a hard counter. Mass muta only beats mass blink stalker then they reach critical mass and have good upgrades. Add in Archon + storm and it will absolutely demolish mutas in a straight up fight. The only way for mutas to play against that is to circumvent or try to separate parts of the army. | ||

That's a different story, and has more to do with the fundamentally shitty design of protoss. Mutas function very well in their flexible utility role, evident by the fact that this problem only really exists in ZvP. People are trying to do some mix-ins lately, something like blink stalkers + archons + phoenixes. Anyway I don't see why it's a problem that we have to get phoenixes to counter mutas (and I don't see why it would be shitty design either). | ||
