No Genius is not a guy who build his career on aggression guys. He's know for void ray all ins. But he was know also for stellar late game pvt and pvp, especially pvt. He is one of the ultimate deathball masters.

If we're going to call a GSL finalist "random", the only one I'd go with (and even he is debatable) is Seed. Sniper was consistently good for a while before he reached the finals. i would claim that protoss finalists are not random at all! because there were only like 3? Don't beat me i wasn't there during the first months of sc2 MC, Inca, Seed, Genius. Not sure if you wanna count sOs' season finals or Parting's Blizzard Cup? no i just want to count the real gsls Ok so MC, Inca, Seed, Genius, Squirtle, Rain I think Not Rain, TSL_Rain is terran and SKT1 Rain was in OSL, not GSL. I counted Rain's second OSL finals because both GSL and OSL are WCS Korea now. They keep their branding though and i go with this. If we are to count wcs korea, we may as well count Creator. WCS 2012 was a different tournament. See, there is NO reason to count OSL and GSL ^^
There is. They have the same qualification system which is basically Code A. If you do well in OSL, you qualify for GSL and the other way around. The player cast is the same. For WCS Korea 2012 everybody started from scratch and had to qualify anew, lots of players not even attending.

All zergs played with the same conditions. He's the one who won.

Rain was in a GSL final, he wasn't protoss though
