But before everything was imba (his words, not mine), Ryung's TvT and TvZ were phenomenal. He just always ran into a protoss eventually which more often than not ended his runs

I guess if you can dupe the Protoss into going like double robo for colossi against ling hydra, a muta switch would work. But Crank was able to defend with just stalker/sentry and his phoenixes even did damage with the hydra's there. So a muta switch was never going to work.

If you don't want to risk a build order loss, use a safer build order. Innovation took a risk that his opponent wouldn't 2 rax reaper him, and he didn't fully scout the base of his opponent either. Smart players try to take smart risks, but sometimes they don't pay off. If you feel that you're a lot better than your opponent, play a super safe opening or something.
Also, team Acer needs to get some Protoss >_>, and Axiom some Zerg.

Ryung has always been a TvT monster, and you can never count Heart out, he's got some sick builds and cheeses.

It's why I rooted against TL during the IPLTAC3 especially against the KR teams, even though I really like TaeJa and HerO's play.
It was literally Team'TaeJa vs everybody. Everybody else combined for one or two kills, then TaeJa was sent in as ace to finish everything.
If that teamleague had used the revive rule like ATC S1, we probably wouldn't have seen anybody else
