People feel his invite was undeserved. Whether or not that is the case is another matter. He did manage to beat both Tilea and goswser in the Challenger Division last season, and was one Bo3 from making it back to the Premier Division.
He got lucky to be placed in a group with Idra, so even though he didn't win any games in his up and down group, he still stayed in Challenger for another season.

Can someone explain to me why it's marked as Season2 on the wcs website ? I don't get it. There is no brackets whatsoever to the matches of monday and the one's from last night.

the challenger group stages for EU and AM are still part of the previous season whereas in Korea the up and down matches mark the beginning of the new season
