This tournament has been full of great games and you nitpick this to bitch about? I do agree with you, but more than 50% of games (of all SC2) go to deathball vs deathball like this one, and thats boring If you think the game ended beacuse of "deathball vs deathball", you don't seem to understand the game at all. the game was prolonged due to deathball vs deathball and there was a large amount of time of minimal action because of deathball vs deathball Taeja played out the game very well, but spectator wise, it is still a boring play style and overall spectator experience prolonged constant action between both players is almost always a superior and more entertaining game to watch This is like criticizing soccer because there's very few goals and just constant passing. SC2 isn't soccer Duh. But it's positional and tempo-based, and easily mistaken for just "running back and forth" by people who can't appreciate the tactics.
i think football was honestly worse under barca's reign, they were boring as shit to watch, and g2 of this series was quite close to that. i'm happy that bayern 7-0'ed what could possibly have been the most boring team in football history through direct play and very little of that possession-passing bullshit.

Last I heard Parting was getting 70k/year But people make up numbers everywhere

A lot of KeSPA players trained for 8 years but very few of them get the same sort of skill and results as JD. Yeah, but even the lower-mid tier ones are owning top eSF players in StarCraft 2. Sup?

Rain has played in 2 MLGs ever before. Innovation has played in 1 MLG. Maru has never left Korea. They interviewed Rain last time and he said that fatigue plays a big factor into his performance overseas.

I like Scarlett but I am cheering for TvT

yeah, that's my theory as well. It's not the only thing, but I think it is a factor. That being said, I don't want to take credit away from the players that beat these favorites, but I think it should be mentioned.

Not only do the Kespa players care more about Proleague, they have an entire organization complete with experienced staff there to prepare every player for every game. Couple that with no traveling, which the kespa players are obviously not used to as evidenced by numerous interviews at previous MLG events. Taeja has tremendous experience playing these weekend tournaments and frequently travels. He obviously is going to do better in these games than bo1 games where you spend an entire week practicing for. I get that, but the players just played like trash comparatively to what they'd played like before. Taeja's only just getting back into that groove of stomping everyone.
I'm mega biased too, so excuse my giddyness :D
