Yes the entire game is different, Vortex is gone, Fungal remains. Sounds different.

I don't play SC2 anymore, but I watch it, and I don't want to watch things like Vortex or Fungal decide games like that. So anti-climatic, no opportunities to showcase skill or micro.

Sounds to me like you're just happy JD could finally beat Naniwa, and it doesn't matter how, so you're defending Fungal.

i'm not defending fungal per say, i just think it's dumb for anyone to highlight it as a big problem anymore, since it's so damn rare nowadays, and often does not decide the game, or even battles. that was one of the first instances i've seen, and that was more because naniwa had everything tightly grouped.
i hated infestor broodlord/archon toilet but that's not what we saw this game, at all. for you to say that the entire game consisted only of that last engagement is kind of insinuating that nothing else in the game mattered, which is entirely untrue.
anyway, enjoy the rest of the tournament or, if you're worried about more fungal spells being used, go learn to build a canoe or something.

The game was pretty even up until then, it certainly wasn't decided. It could have been a great fight, instead it was over nearly instantly and then we just had to watch Naniwa lose all his units, just like a game with Vortex. And you had to clump up to die to Vortex too.

And I don't want to build a canoe. I love Starcraft so much, I want to see it change for the better, and I'm willing to speak up for that. If you don't like it, don't listen. Or go buy an elephant suit and paint it purple. Then maybe you'd understand...

Fair enough, hopefully you can continue to find enjoyment. I'm off to find some non toxic paint...
