That guy's got almost 400k to his name. definitely not, the money Mvp made from GSL is way too much to be outdone by 5 foreign tournaments alone, even if they each gave Taeja 50k. 4 golds and 2 silvers in GSL is almost 200k by itself, in fact it might be. the only reason it might not be is because the world championship had a lower prize pool than Code S. by " equal to Mvp " I meant winning 5 premier foreign tournaments, only he and Mvp have done it.

The kinds or tournament that Taeja won have never given 25k-50k for first place (i.e. he only won "Arena" types of event, not "Championship", and those only gave 10k ).

I fell off my chair when in that super-long goswser game Khaldor commentend (on the Z having 20k mins and 10k gas): even you wouldn't leave the game now. Idra 'don't hold your breeath'. However, the stuff happening in-between the games was too awkward for words. And I'm European, and am used to awkward random shit. The interviews were completely lackluster and unprepared, the drawing for the next day was too silly for words, and that aspect of the production was too sloppy for words. After that goswser comeback, the casters said about 10 times that they wanted to hear the rationale behind that weird b.o. in game 3 (or 2), that didn't made sense at all. They even repeated that after the game, and INSTRUCTED the interviewer to ask that. The interviewer then completely ignores the subject, goswser mentions the build, and no further questions are asked?! Really, for a tournament the grand finals should be the place where everything leads too, and then there's just the casual handing-over of the trophee (here, I got something for you), virtually no interview - al longer interview with the loser? Jeez, they could have talked about Teaja's insight into winning game 4 for 10 minutes alone, that was such a great comeback... The whole ceremony seems to have been improvised completely, cringe, cringe, cringe. I don't mind awkward ceremonies, silly stuff happening, or even players stripping and doing silly dances (as per video above), but ITS THE EFFING FINALS, MAKE SOMETHING OF IT, FFS! This was completely anticlimactic... If I'd be the ASUS person responsible for this, I'd be having some pretty strong words with people.
