Yeah I'm sure they wouldn't want to fuck up the tourney with a semifinal walkover. This is the correct decision even though it might not be "by the book". Bomber is probably practicing anyway so it's not like he necessarily loses out on anything.

Yeah, there was a short period of time, where these 10-pool Banebusts were kinda successful, but not anymore - especially because you'll never get the Hatch down and I think the opponent is almost always ahead :-/ But whatever, Life is known for his early aggression.

The real reason Life was so good at ZvZ was because he combined great mechanics with having a superior understanding of mutalisk function and transition in the midgame. The latter became less and less important after the summer of 2012 and post-spore crawler buff there is no point to it anymore. His ling micro is extremely good but it was never his primary strength in the early game, which was decision-making and positioning.

I'm curious how his WCG games looked. He went 2-0 vs Splendid, 2-1 vs TurN, and then lost 0-2 to Soulkey
Losing to Soulkey in ZvZ is... okay, I think. But the WCG games prove my point: He's better again in ZvT/P, but ZvZ is a problem :-P

Nice play from Life, to bad 70% of the current maps make it hard to abuse swarmhosts like this. Unless you find the ovi drop button.
Life played that quite well, imo. It's insanely hard to play against this style, but he abused the immobility really well and preventing Scarlett from taking a 4th is definitely not too easy.
