Ghost was basically nerfed because of MVP, one player

Afaik thor removal of energy in WoL was also reverted because of one terran player, dunno which one though.

Pretty sure it was Happy, the russian one, I still remember he's 50+ minutes games on shuttered temple with mass ghost versus any type of zerg army. And he managed to win those won, using a lot of snipeshots.

I love Bomber, but as I said in a thread the other day Firsts PvT is incredible so I have to side with him. I am definitely expecting a couple of lazy SCV pulls this game just because.

51,x % for Zerg with Flash on 10 winstreak and INnoVation with another 80% of Terran wins, I think besides those two, there is no outstanding Terran that is balance breaking in TvZ, am I wrong on that one?

I don't think it will matter if your wrong or right at this point tbh, proleague is 65% tvz, terran shat on zerg this osl etc. Right or wrong some sort of buff for zerg/nerf for terran is probably coming.



Its funny how different the results in top tournaments are vs how balance is on ladder. Blizz doesn't seem to really care about ladder balance, or they model it off GSL balance. If a race is doing extremely well in GSL they will be nerfed, much as Terran was repeatedly nerfed during GomTVT

The whole Flash + Inno distorting TvZ stats is not the best argument imo, you could just as easily say Zerg stats are being buffed by Soulkey and Symbol.

Though yeah, gotta admit that it's only SK really that's been a really exceptional zerg so far..

Last game Ran got a free win too when SN didn't pull scv.

So much irony, Rain winning with a semi-allin. SN losing because he didn't pull scvs


Rain's allin was based on his scouting, Supernova's scv pull was out of desperation from being behind.

It wasn't an all in at all, he had 3 gates and just attacked.

Spending resources on stalkers puts you very far behind especially when you make more than 5. That was very all in, the fact that it is off of three gates just lets it happen earlier.


Making units out of three gates on two bases can't be called an all in unless the term becomes void of any meaning.


To be fair though, whenever Protoss attacks, it is semi allin. Cause if Protoss loses substantial amount of his units, he mostly auto-loses later.

While proleague stats show such balance breaking results, look into it. I am not saying TvZ is imbalanced or Zerg favored to begin with, but over 50% of the wins from Terran are thanks to INnoVatioN and Flash. I believe there are players outstanding that just happen to be ahead of their time. i.e Rain in WoL when Protoss really didn't do too well, he destroyed Terrans. I think Blizzard will take a good look into it, because what are you going to take away from Terran that helps Zerg?
