The "2nd tier Kespa players" (Dear is a key player on STX's line-up, by the way) all eliminated players like Flash, Bogus, SK and Rain by, you know, beating them.

Flash didnt participate.

Yep. Why didn't he? All other top Kespa talent did. Would have been interesting to see him at this MLG...

Same case as to why sOs didnt participate either.
Asian Indoor games.
He's playing for the gold medal on Thursday or Friday against sOs

I thought it was on Tuesday?

No, I'm sure he came to have that opinion without much effort at all.

Damn Naniwa is legit.
He could probably be Kespa A-team material (just regarding his skill and dedication).

You guys really disregard that we are talking about *THREE* kespa players - just 3. All of them ending up in top 12 is actually great result, because when a group is so underrepresented it's very easy to just end up with a couple of early eliminations. Like, it never happens that great players go out in early rounds? Sure it does. And the smaller the group you look at, the more possible it becomes that none of them finishes at the very top.

I feel like this is a poor thing to say. First it's "Kespa domination" and when it doesn't happen, it's "there were only 3". Of course all 3 placing top 12 is a really fucking great result - it's very impressive, no question, but when talking about the tournament before it began, there was a lot of "Kespa will roll through this" and when put in that light, none of them reaching the finals is a disappointment.

So does Polt have a 2-0 head start regardless of who advances due to extended series?

Yep, I think so at least

I'm forgetting how Extended series works, is it a 2-0 lead in a Bo5 or Bo7?

Yes, it is just a continuation of the last series as if it was a best of 5.

I think it is bo7 not?

Im pretty sure it starts 0-0 and a Bo3 if Naniwa or Dear wins first best of 3 then it turns into a bo7 from the bo3 score.

No, you're wrong.

This applies only to the semis, and since Polt beat both Dear and Nani already whoever moves on will have to play a bo7 vs Polt starting down 0-2.

Nani and Dear didn't meat before, whoever wins this bo3 will face Polt next.

Shellbot already clarified and i was talking about whichever of them beats polt

If one of them beats Polt it does not matter since final is just a straightforward bo7 without any advantage for advancing from upper bracket.

That tournament's foreigners have more skill than this tournament's foreigners. Remove Koreans, this tournament is more jokey than that one.
