And Hero won WCS NA.
to be fair WCS NA S1 was a bit of a joke...
Why? It was stronger than EU...
No....
Ummm yes. Actually yes. Anyone from the final 8 in NA could've won EU.
Anyone from EU top 8 could have won NA.
lmao
Of course they could have. Who could NEVER have woin NA? So ridiculous.
Babyknight.
but i agree with you. WCS EU's weakest players were much stronger than WCS NA's weakest players. WCS EU's strongest players were clearly stronger than WCS NA's strongest players (at the very least the finalists). but winning WCS NA Season 1 is still a solid achievement.
If Moonglade could have won WCS EU then of COURSE BK could have won WCS America. Also just realised it isn't NA we should stop calling it that.

Well. I think Naniwa's personality is as much a myth as anything. He's made a lot of very modest and humble interviews and taken care to explain his actions and thoughts.
I guess, as previously mentioned in this thread, Naniwa is being too 'honest' from time to time. It may make him socially awkward and hard to get along with.

day9 fans are basically a cult.
I agree with that assessment.
I don't even get where they all come from, I rarely see Day9 anywhere. Does he still do his Daily show? I've never seen it live, how many people watch that?
I don't even get where people come up with this stuff. Yes, of course he still does his Dailies, he just past Daily #600. Rarely see him anywhere?? Let me see....MLG Anaheim, Red Bull Training Grounds, WCS Season 1 Finals. And that's all just within the past month or two.
but thats the exception not the rule. first redbull event in a year, before wcs finals when was the time you saw him before that? or when was the last time you saw him outside NA?
over the last month hes done quite a few events, but prior to that he was awol from events for like 6+ months.
Before that he was at MLG Dallas.
Honestly, I don't care if people don't like him. I just hate this perception that he's "disappeared" and doesn't do anything. Do people expect him to cast every tournament every weekend?

He runs a company, does a show 5 days a week for the game we follow in addition to streaming other gameplay etc etc etc. Seeing him only work with the biggest events in addition to someone he basically brought to e-Sports is something we have to expect due to the fact that a day has a 24 hour limit.

Jaedong can't play against Protoss, he's so straight-up and skill-reliant that he refuses to acknowledge the retarded gimmicks he undergoes. Naniwa loves gimmicks, actually he hardly ever wins without them.
2-0, logical score.
dem tears
dong played awfully tbh
I'd rather lose with honor and style than win like Naniwa
Jaedong did not lose with style.
He did by being Jaedong. Naniwa is and will always remain the same War3 BM noob to me.
Naniwa has matured a lot, give the guy some credit. I hope that someday we'll be able to say the same thing about you and the quality of your posting on TL, which has been pretty awful so far.

Perhaps the top half was a little stronger in AM but all in all I think EU had a more competitive lineup.
EU only had a more competitive lineup due to parity. NA had more better overall players due to the amount of koreans in it. Transfer those koreans over to EU and EU would have top 8 kr mostly too. EU had I think 4 krs in it and 2 made top 4 in EU.

vs HerO, Alicia, Moonglade, Ryung, Crank, aLive, Revival, Snute
The fact that EU had Mvp in the finals is evidence enough. He is extremely hard to beat in such boX series, especially in the finals. I dont think anyone except maybe Hero could give Mvp run for his money in EU finals.

Uh Snute beat a majority of EU in HCS and he only made 6th in WCS NA.
