During the downtime I did some calculation on the subject of extended series in the case that the bracket winner and the semi-finalist did not meet before.
In such case the player from winner's bracker has to win the first bo3 or the bo7. The odds to do it assuming same skill level are...
62.5 : 37.5 in favor of the player that came from the winner's bracket.
This is better for the loser's bracket player, as his odds of winning 2 bo3's in a row are only and 25%. Still it gives significant advantage for the winner's bracket player.
