Somewhere between 30 and 40? Just counted , 27. Thing is, a lot of the decent Korean players are on foreign teams like EG-TL and Axiom so it's convenient for them to switch leagues, as well as a few others but it's mostly those two teams that just aren't in Korea. (JYP excluded). most of ST, MVP, Prime, IM, FXO, Gapelion still try though. They are just losing more than last time I don't think a single IM player has played yet today? might be wrong Seed in group D, but yeah most IM players have a spot anyway FXO_Seed. Seems only Yoda/ByuL don't have spots in NA/EU/KR. Maybe they will be moving to NA/EU pretty sure yoda is code a
Oops, you are right. So only ByuL is missing.

Except for Team 8 and CJ, they are pretty bad. Yeah i would put them below Im and Startale right now. But I think Startale and IM would be the only teams capable of even competing in PL and I have strong doubts that startale would do better than Cj or Team 8 Why would IM and ST be the only teams capable of competing in PL when MVP and Axiom-Acer are both ahead of them in the GSTL? Dude. Who are the best players in GSTL right now? Ryung and Vampire(Super) Who are the best players in PL? Rain, Flash, Innovation. Not to take anything away from Ryung and Vampire, but i doubt they are on the same level as Rain flash or innovation. IM and Startale have deep rosters with a lot of talent and could compete. While as Axiom acer is 20-14 in GSTL. which is good but you gotta remember. Ryung is 10-4. the rest of the team is 10-10. In a PL format that means, that you loose games with something like a 4-2 score most of the time. And in the alkill rounds i really doubt that Ryung or Vampire could take out super aces like Flash, Rain, Innovation or Roro I don't think Team MVP would do horribly, they have a large roster, actually I think MVP is better than Startale right now in terms of proleague format. Startale's lineup would probably be something like this Core players: Life Bomber Curious Avenge Supporting players: Sound Golden Hack MVP's Core players: vampire tails nakseo(monster) keen dream Supporting players: drg sniper finale noblesse shine MVP has more options, as well as more protoss. But ST's core is stronger than MVP's ST is basically KT in a nutshell. One godly player: Flash/Life Two crazy good back ups: Bomber/Curious vs Zest/Stats Player on the rise: Crazy hydra/Avenge Used to be good: Hack vs Action Rest: Garbage vs Garbage. I really don't think Startale's core is that much better than MVP's at all, in fact I think It's really weak lately. Bomber is in slump mode again, Life seems to be declining, Curious just got knocked out of OSL 0-2. Avenge is the only one really going strong. I feel like you are overvaluing GSTL results. Let's see if Bomber is in slump mode towmorrow. I don't see why GSTL's prestige levels or a head-to-head comparison of the best players in GSTL/PL has anything to do with the simple fact that if you claim ST and IM are the only PL-capable teams, and Axiom-Acer and MVP are both beating them, then clearly Axiom-Acer and MVP should also be PL-capable. Roster depth definitely does matter more in PL format but I don't think their rosters are particularly shallow, I feel like they could at least perform similarly to Team 8/CJ/EG-TL. If anything I feel like Startale is being overrated by a lot. They're just way weaker than they used to be. Look man. I might be wrong on MVP. But Axiom Acer, as much as I looove them, would get destroyed so hard in PL it wouldn't even be funny. Ryung is the only guy on the roster that has a chance of consistently beating mid-tier koreans. MMA Alicia and Crank would have like a 0.3 winrate. Heart is pretty much a foreigner skill wise. Scarlett will retire soon. They are doin good in GSTL because Ryung carries them through and they made some nice coaching/snipe moves with alicia crank and MMA which is a + in GSTL. But every team in PL prepares like crazy.
Yeah I'd say Axiom-Acer is the most questionable, but if Axiom-Acer isn't proleague-capable, then Startale definitely isn't, in my opinion. None of their core is performing as well as they used to. If they didn't lose Parting and Squirtle then they'd stand a far better chance. I'd say MVP and IM would stand the best chance.

All of the esf teams should just form 2 super teams, join proleague and win every season :D
