Some people are saying that it's because each caster was meant to solo a group, but i think that was started by a post by fionn (or someone else with a paintbrush icon, can't remember who :p ) which said something like

"maybe the casters are just doing a group each and wolf and khaldor decided to duo"

And people just took it as gospel.
