I kinda disagree with the analysis here, I really don't think DT's are much of a risk anymore. It's a pretty standard opening. And I don't think having an observer out earlier would've helped at all. I don't think the DT's did any damage, maybe killed a sentry or two, monchi just didn't have enough to deal with 3gates.

Yawn ... no Photon Cannons as a defense?
Cannons only cost minerals, dont cost supply and can be built without Warp Gate cooldown, so they are the smartest early game defense against drops which you need to expect. Mostly unprotected like this is simply a massacre. Cannons also stick to their position and thus prevent "player mistakes". If you play greedy this seems to be a requirement on such a map.

Hm, can anyone tell me why Sase decided to go back to Taiwan right before the qualifiers? He handicapped himself heavily that way. At least next wcs has a lot of new faces.
I mean wcs is by far the most important thing for a foreigner and it currently makes no sense to stay in Asia for the sake of playing the KR-ladder. Really surprised by Sases decision-making.

Beasty finally get his well deserves Premiere League Spot . Hope Welmu can do the same in his groups. Both tried played just about every Qualfier from the get go and came close a couple of time but didn't get over the hump until nopw. Gonna be hard for Welmu with MC and Nerchio in his group though.

After TAiLS, the WCS EU Premier League gets another much needed protoss player. Now if they expand past their second base that would be great but let's not ask too much of them.
And since it seems to be a trend now, I hope Feast qualify as well. He fits the bill too.

I think he actually took like 2 months break before HotS. Which I think was pretty good idea. He was streaming a lot towards the end of ASUS sponsorship and he started to seem a bit bored/tired even though he was improving I think. Now it seems like the break combined with new team and WCS have started to pay off :p

The only problem that I see for Elfi is that the game is evolving more towards the direction of multitasking/harrassment, something that is not really his strength. In WOL the games usually came down to one or two big engagements and he had a very good controll in those. I think in order to become a real contender he needs to improve a bit in the areas mentioned, nevertheless he will surprise me and presumably others a lot in the future.
