Needs to scout it coming and split accordingly. This was popular for a while in WoL, but tanks eventually shut ti down. But even with tanks, it can be a really good sucker punch.

With how greedy Terrans are opening. Roach all in is a good strategy. I don't think there is any way to reliably hold this with the fast 3rd into mine play.

I actually really enjoy this kind of PvZ, with the phoenix vs muta/corruptor micro, then you add in templar and infestors/vipers to complicate the micro further.

You can't fight mutas in hots without range upgraded phoenixes, you could try to mix voids into this too but they're a lot slower than phoenixes and less microable.

IMO it is, the only option to beat mutas in WOL with a ground army was to get quick storm, now with the new muta regen, you storm but they leave with the mutas for a minute and they're full hp again,
Paralyze just played it really bad :/. needed a 3rd stargate much faster, and storm, double air upgrades. and many many more gates. Instead he went Collosi and had like no production facilities,.

I've never seen anything quite like that before, except for when I was leveling my EU account from Bronze recently. No, just keep rebuilding the wall. You only need like a canon or two and minerals saved up to re wall off.
He wouldn't have had enough DPS to kill the zerglings before his entire walloff died to melee hits

Nope. Watch Leenock do it. He's got like a 80% winrate with it lol. Cannons don't do enough DPS because there's to many lings. You need like 3 sentrys + with 2-3 cannons + rewalling to defend it.

He had a canon, a zealot and sentry as opposed to your 3 sentrys and 2-3 cannons.
My point is this is a surprise build, it is not effective if it is scouted because it is so easy to defend.
No he had 2 sentrys, 3 cannons. I'm not talking about what you have before the rush comes... Of course it's a surprise build, but it's hard to scout from a Protoss, It's obviously easy to defend when scouted. My original point was it was almost impossible for Paralyze to defend because it was impossible to make any sentrys which you continue to ignore.

Bbyong lost more than 15 medivacs by leaving them after battles when he could have boosted away.

I could understand the macro mistakes when BByong went full crazy mode at the end with multi-tasking, but Leenock's macro was extremely awful from the first push. =(
i remember the last games we saw of leenock he was using a ling-flood build, where he pretty much relied on awesome macro to win. definitely a weird contrast.
that is so incredibly hard to deal with once the terran macro gets rolling ....focusing a lot of time to deal with widow mines, drops, and nonstop pushes at the frontlines...he was bound to lose a ton of overlords and time to inject.
With that said well played by Bbyong, his widow mine positioning was really good.

Yeah. I can't count the times I facepalmed when a Pro player had 10+ widow mines and burrowed all of them within one inch.
Widow mines placement is like tanks in BW, you kill first two, then you find out there are 5 after them. Terran finally gets the perfect defensive unit like in BW.
Close spawning spot is death for Zerg in the future, I think.

Highly doubt that the differences are minimal...if that was the case then Kespa wouldn't be 15-10 vs esf in the challenger league and that's not even counting rain vs byun. Also don't even get me started on Code S. If someone with extensive knowledge of the scene had to name the top 10 players right now without bias, there's a high likelihood the majority would be in Kespa.

This is how I feel. You don't see too many zerg winning agaisnt widows mines, and most of the time they just play better. I think it's not a coincidence that pretty much all the good terran that fell lately in TvZ got killed by all-ins (or while all-ining)
Kespa outnumbered heavily in U&D's, so it will probably be pretty even in Code S
U&D again should be dominated by eSF Bunny/Trust are cannon fodder material, Paralyze isnt that good (sorry afrotoss fans), and after that (Jangbi/effort/fanta are the only good bets to make it out) Look at the eSF and you see Curious, MKP, Yoda, Gumiho, Leenock, DRG..etc. too many ><

12 Code S qualifications are allotted for U&D. If you ignore the skill differences between KESPA and eSF, you may expect about equal number of kespa and esf players next code S. But keep in mind that last code S, there were significantly more esf players. They are getting pushed out by kespa. also if results of code a etc is reflection of kespa domination, you would expect more kespa players qualifying from u&d than would be expected from number differences alone.

Rain not looking like the best protoss in the world tonight.
This isn't calling out your post but you mad me think of something. Yesterday, Rain almost reverse all killed CJ Entus, looking really good and losing a PvP in his last game. He's also basically the top player results wise with like a 30 wins to 12 losses ratio. On the other hand, Innovation was on a losing streak in the SPL, then he all killed and stomped RoRo. My point is, i feel too many conclusions are made on a player on a game to game basis.
I wish the bigger picture would be used at times. Instead of someone having a good game then it's like, OMG best player in the world better than anyone at his race!!

That would be good. I too want to celebrate Soulkey's and Sos's advancement into the ro4 of the GSL and their combined 15-6 record against esf player that got them to that point.
I dont understand the fuss about kespa vs esf.. in a couple of seasons kespa and esf will unite into 1 teamleague and individual league.. everyone can see that comming (saves money, easier branding, more opportunities, bigger impact on blizzard = all is more potential). I dont understand the guerilla of kespa vs esf.

Lol we might as well say that everyone in Korea is underperforming right now, things are so weird (as well as because of our high expectations and short-term memories). Except Flash and Innovation of course.

Except for the only Kespa player Symbol beat is Soo and Shine. Soulkey and Sos knocked out Maru (twice), Marineking, Bomber, Taeja, and Losira. Symbol had the easiest path to the ro4 and tomorrow's game versus innovation will show why.

Symbol beating Innovation 4-0 will likely cause the TL site to break down, a quarter of users on suicide watch, and tasteless wondering where he went wrong, while artosis will be rushing and pushing towards a special broadcast of Meta if he pulled it of. The greatest tragedy ever.

It was kinda depressing as a Woongjin fan, and because Ro4 is almost always better than the Finals. So either this is going to be an amazing finals that breaks tradition or it'll be worse than Nestea vs Inca which is impossible to imagine

4 roaches drop in a row. Innovation loosing like a total neebie. Idra declares : "I like the macro play of symbol"
But troll appart, while a 4-0 sweep by innovation is more probable, a 4-0 sweep in the other direction is not to exclude. Innovation does not look that strong agaisnt cheese/weird play (by that I mean : "he don't look as invincible"), and symbol is probably excecute them perfectly

Hahahah what? Are you just here to continue arguments for arguments sake? Find yourself a proper debating club.
EDIT: Yeah and teamkills are teamkills. There aren't many teamkill series that are really good and not somehow strange. Knowing that, and not really being a fan of either sOs or soulkey, I had 0 interest in that semi final.
How can you not be a fan of sOs, even progamers prefer to play him because he's so inventive, the trident toss
Haha, I can easily not be a fan of lots of players. I take a fair amount of time to warm up to people usually too. I'm only now thinking I like Innovation's play.
Tell sOs to keep being interesting for a few months and if he is I'll probably cotton onto him.

Yeah Fionn and I are definitely ESF-only fans, rofl.

I'm not acting like anything, that series was fucking awful and you would have to be the most biased person on the planet to not realize it.

I wasn't going to bother humoring you, but this is just fucking hilarious. What was your old account's ID on this website? You know, before you got permed for trolling. I have to wonder if you're just one of those people who bandwagon the Kespa teams for the sake of it, because if you actually followed Brood War you would have seen me in all the BW LR threads. I've followed both games for a long time, and have no bias one way or another. I switch my flare between SKT and IM whenever I feel like it.

You really shouldn't, they are a total waste of time unless you enjoy watching sloppy play and world-class players choking. Unless you're the kind of person who thinks a watch-through of Battlefield Earth would be good entertainment, save yourself the couple hours of your life.
ESF players will continue to lose their spots to Kespa players in code S until it's like a 1:10 ratio. Kespa fans will rub it in. ESF fans will say no-no Life is still the best player in the world. Mods will continue to say the two sides are equal.

Answer: You're lying, you were banned in the past, probably for doing the same thing as you're doing now. It's unfortunate the mods decided to let you back in, considering all you contribute to this website is being a cancer to these threads.
If you want some respect around here from anyone other than other kespa-esf PBU baiters like yourself do us a favor and make a LR thread some time.
I've never seen him begin such a troll actually. I'm not sure if it's more u guys who are overreacting or him baiting too much. I would say 50/50.
I'm the only one that over reacted, and that's because he made it personal by insulting me. I'm not going to take any crap from someone who contributes nothing to TL.

Yeah, I understand your point. One can show his preference for one team / player / federation imo but his post was a bit too aggressive. Now he reacted to a caption some people thought was a bit insulting as well. And as I didn't see him doing troll repeatedly in this thread and in his past posts, I thought you were a bit overreacting about him. Anyway, sorry for me making this discussion even longer...

He's actually somewhat troll-y. Not the worst but he does do his fair share of baiting (which is fine if done for laughs)
Which honestly should be expected of someone named Charlie.Sheen

Well by troll I meant something ban worthy. He loves baiting a bit too much which is close but not exactly the same.
In before troll leaves discuccion by claiming to have better things to do.
Also wtf Byun, you had Rain and let him swim? When will Byun finally overcome his nervous twitches, he can be brilliant only to lose his composure and thus the game.

and the same people always bite
Maybe because at the end of these LRs it's always the same people who are still here.
Also man, Dodgin went on rampage. Almost sounded like me when I get drawn into those debates, lol.

really? which one is in Code S? lol, not saying Parting is better but I think they're pretty even
Code S isn't the only tournament that exists.
It's a good barometer in this instance since they both played in this tourney. Rain lost to Gumiho and Innovation while Parting beat Flash 60 supply down.
...thats never ever a good barometer for anything. hey look, rain and bogus was in the same group, they won one time each. theyre both better than the other!

Dude, usually these guys with the uber high post counts are like the eSF vs. KeSPA police you know?? I've seen them smash some people in other threads, they really do get a kick out of it. ROFL.
