It's like his signature play from BW, I still remember his series vs Jangbi in one of the early gom tourneys. Sick drops. Surprised he hasn't truly broken out in SC2 yet. I thought his youth and multitask/dropping would be perfect.

That was Korean Rotti in the crowd O_O

Baby is talented but he's in the wrong team. Poor team 8 operations.

Not sure what Jaehoon is thinking here, zealot prism harrass is hardly effective and it's already hard enough to hold medivac harass without sending 500 minerals across the map to force a short scv pull...

This game was so weird overall, Ty just kept spamming hellbat drops til it finally worked out and then Stork didnt feel like attacking even though he had 2-3 upgrades vs 0-1 or something........ Then he throws the game completely with the Bronze a-move, then loses 2 bases due to not splitting his army. While all this is going on Ty is just losing way too many SCV's for no reason at all. That game actually hurt my brain even though I like both players alot
|
Stork was in such a good position before send all chargelots without support into 4 bunkers with Ty's army backing 'em up. Sad to see.

patient, calm play from jangbi. good job. excellent placed HTs and storms from jangbi, rare to see that, when half of the tosses just clumps the HTs and lose all of them to 2 emps.

|
Fun game, I feel that both played very well. A bit confused though that the casters didnt say anything about Ty having like 20 Vikings for 2 colossus. That was kinda the main problem, he had such a small bio ball due to all the vikings eating supply for nothing. Jangbi keeping up the zealot warp-ins all over the map, so gooood
|
I think T8 needs to use True more. he's pretty good.
|
<3 Jangbi. You returned in SCII.
|
FUCK YEAH JANGBIIII!!!
Jangbanged. :DD
|
Baby had himself in a good position but was too reluctant to engage the protoss army. He got too cute with multitasking and just died to storms. The truth of TvP is that terran's bio-viking-ghost ball will win against a protoss gateway-templar-colossus ball every time in a heads up engagement. Once these compositions are reached and upgrades are equalized, terran should try to force a head-on engagement. Terrans with great TvP, like Byun, are notorious for great ghost/main army control in this matchup. Baby's multitask-overwhelm style is only really applicable for TvT and TvZ; he does well in the early-midgame in TvP, but between zealots, storms, feedback, blink stalkers, and the mocore protoss's drop defense is way too solid later on for Baby to continue playing his evasive style.
|
God Jangbi looked so sick there.

I'm glad Jangbi won. I'm starting to feel medivacs are making games a bit too boring (hellbat drops, MM-Ghost late game, etc), if not way too abusive against all races.

Both are equally strong deathballs, but I give Terran the edge due to the mobility of medivacs, which enables Terran to hit and run, divide and conquer, much better. Though Jangbi managed to counter this well, by abusing warp-ins, I still think medivac speed plus their healing makes pulling off a drop attack is more efficient than defending against it.

I've seen late game 'toss deathballs roll well micro'ed Terran armies and I've seen the opposite. It comes down to micro and positioning (and compositions) but it's not imbalanced in Terran's favour.
|

I'm not saying it can't, but to say it wins every time is retarded. The comp's are reasonably balanced at the highest level and it really comes down to the engagement. If not then it's pretty strange to see so many terrans playing evasively or hiding near planetaries vs such an easily defeatable composition -.-

The reality is if both players have their perfect late game ground army neither player can engage the other player in a defensive position if both players micro correctly. If the armies clash in the middle of the map it entirely depends on positioning and micro. If the terran gets the perfect engagement yes he wins every time but if he doesn't he almost always comes out behind in terms of cost efficiency.
