If Forgg beats Sase aren't they both 3-5? So he doesn't automatically move on?

Holy shit who would've thought that?

I don't understand why people thought he would do good in the first place. He is in the states and more or less without a team, right?

Leenock still has that KR practice backing him up, none of his games have even been close.

I'd be surprised if he doesn't win this.

Yeah he already 2-0d his biggest competition. Leenock should be the heavy favorite

How the hell wasn't he the heavy favorite at the start of the tournament?

Because silly Polt fanboys.

Wasn't it like more than just Fionn who wrote polt as the favorite? I dunno if that was cuz of fanboyism, at least not for the others.

Yeah 2-0ing the Gumibear is very impressive

Leenock was always the obvious choice as favourite for this tournament. He's insane good at weekend LAN events.

Leenock is the favorite of any tournament he enters.

except GSL where he'll choke if he ever gets close

Don't say things like this. I have PTSD from GSL November.

I don't really like Huks playstyle or think highly of him because of it, but he's professional. If he sees his best chances in cheesing, he better does it. He playes to win. I really don't see how its so hard to understand.

He is also super tired and when you only need one match out of three, you cheese. You would do it too. We all would because its is the best way to play.

I would not, but I don't blame him.

You would play a straight up, honorable macro game because it is the honorable way to play and the most respectful. Three of them, right in a row to prove how respectful and talented you are.

Coach Park would not approve.

I would play macro games, because its my style. =]

No, Sase defeated Nerchio 2-0, he can go 3-4 at worst.

Yeah, with the FXO bros coming (and many other superkoreans), I feel like Leenock or Gumi should've been rank #1. Not really sure where Polt came from; he's decent but not the best of this player pool for sure (20/20 hindsight aw yeah).
Like Tinkerbelle, I leave behind a sparkly residue.

Team strategy is fine in Formula 1. Wish it was fine (publicly - unofficially many teams do it for sure anyway) in SC2 too.

Indeed. Basically a bunch of totally clueless types decided there was more chance of a guy who plays on NA server and has won one LAN event in his entire career (a B class one too in Assembly) winning over a guy who's won two MLG's, an IPL and made another MLG final and is currently training full time in a Korean teamhouse.

Mostly because he had a really close series against Life at MLG. The Polt vs Life games were a lot closer than the Life vs Flash games imo
