Ah, my bad. Didn't see the whole game, just the ugly end.

No, people are just mad because there's only one stream, lots of downtime, and no big matches yet (it's only Ro256 or 128 now though). But there has been some pretty vocal anger.

Wouldn't that be the best possible turn of events? :D Oh don't get me wrong, I am pissed abot this qualfier not being open to more people! Just under no circumstances should they exclude lower level players I think. It shoud just be open and everything would be fine.

So you rather see lower-level games? .. I think you could watch daily/weekly tournaments for that as well. But cannot argue about taste, to everyone its own

There were several issues with players (e.g. several Chinese professionals and LeiYa) not being admitted to the bracket even though - according to common consensus - they deserved it. Also alot of downtime and several bad games. Though all-in-all it isn't anything we are not familiar with having watched the WCS EU. The main jinx of it is though: (a) there is only one qualifier tournament instead of four, meaning that if you got screwed over by the check-in procedure, you don't just miss one tournament of four, but your entire chance on Code S NA for this season (b) there is only one stream, meaning that if a game sucks or there is alot of downtime, you cannot just switch to another, you are stuck with whatever you see (or not see).
