Well, what have we learned today? Azubu wants to make an All-Kill. They pick a Zerg player. Interesting for all who say Terran is OP: Obviously Zerg is weak in HOTS, right? 2 Terrans were thrown against him. Zerg only gets beaten by another Zerg. Interesting for all who say Toss is UP: The often quoted "best player in the world" loses to a Toss. Toss also wins the final game. But this can be pointed out or be ignored, those who say something is OP will always say that. "Yeah but in Game 1 he could have seen it coming and made tanks, same in game 2 also he shouldn't have lost the Orbital" True Game 4 "Yeah, but life failed 2 allins, thats why he lost, Toss is still OP" True Game 5 "Curious threw his army against a wall and therefore he lost" True. OP-whiners will always say it wasn't "their" race that won, it was the other player who lost the game due to stupid mistakes and the other way around. So this shows that the races are close enough that 1 big mistake makes you lose, no matter with what race After several Terran wins in a row lately, seeing Zerg and Toss winning is refreshing, I am looking forward to endless back and forth TvZ battles, as I have seen enough TvT at the beginning of WoL, enough ZvP in the middle and ZvZ in the End of WoL. I want best matchup there is: ZvT

Wow Khaldor, you be teaching me, so when i scout 1-1 lings, lots of queens and an infestation pit i should start immortal/archon productions. <3 watching the GSTL to make me better. San. That was really really impressive play. his defence and crisis management was really strong.

San. That was really really impressive play. his defence and crisis management was really strong. It was, wasn't it? And yet the observer seemed to be highlighting many moments of inattentiveness from him that I'm not accustomed to seeing from top level players - getting caught out not forcefielding his wall not once but twice, having single air units dotted over the map doing very little, having Phoenixes sat just out of range of Overlords and not attacking them or being nudged passively out of the Zerg base by Queen attacks or whatever. I know it's a hard game but he looked as if (at the micro level) he was playing badly until he won, both times. Is he trying to do too much stuff at once, do you think? Is his strategic understanding that much better than the people he beat? (than Life? really?) ALSO: a Google translation of thisisgame.com's GSTL coverage suggests that San's real name is River Meadows, and that's awesome.
