The usual: Don't flame casters or players. Don't discuss balance in this or any LR thread. Don't call your fellow posters idiots. Be excited, happy and entertained. |

... That's not nice. Not nice at all. :C (Well, the opterown part. Fionn crying would be a hilarious gif.)

At his age in Korea they don't stay up this late. I think this is completely incorrect. The time on the clock is irrelevant to Life. His body is lagged and exposed to being awake at hours in which his Circadian rhythms don't want him to be, and that's the problem. That's making a massive assumption that none of these guys make an effort to adjust. Every athlete has a program they do in order to deal with this. Unless he just got off the plane the very same day then I guess this does not apply. But more than physically, he's disciplined to sleep are a particular time. Life, who can't play past midnight or whatever in Korea, changing his sleep schedule for a foreign tournament? I find that unlikely. Do you honestly believe that these underaged progamers don't play SC2 past midnight in Korea? Its just a matter of using an adult's account. You think they can't find someone above the minimum age to register a game for them to practice at night? When progaming is their job? Its not Life's job. He specifically stated before his GSL win that he couldn't practice much because of high school... so I don't think its terribly unreasonable to expect for a person of his age that it wouldn't possible... again... you don't think he plays after midnight? A teenager. Who has to do homework and practice. Not about how much he practices, about what time he does it. No progamer whatever their age lets the ridiculous curfew affect their schedule.
I'm not saying he doesn't, I'm just saying its not an unreasonable possibility. Parents can be parents from time to time...

He beat Minigun in like ten minutes. He might be sleepy, but it's not like he is playing below his regular level. Wish Polt would stop doing the proxy reaper build now. You're crazy if you think this is life's regular play. He would never drop a game to polt under normal conditions. Polt isn't even close to life's league, yet managed to take a game already. Kid is jetlagged like crazy and it shows in his face and play. yeah Life would never drop a game of HotS to Polt, a player who has played HotS for months while Life still played WoL for GSL. Give me a break.

Betraying mines are always entertaining to watch ever since SC1.

Those qualifiers were held before the Helbat nerf.
Blame MLG for having terrible timing while the beta was still incredibly volatile.
