Basically I think of SC2 as a thinking man's game; I'd prefer if training was accompanied by intelligent analysis/understanding rather then pushing oneself to the mechanical limit. Again this is just a generalization; when I think about it, I'm sure Kas puts thought and care into his training, but again this is all I know about these two players; that Lucifron is part time and Kas overtrains himself. Based on that alone I am rooting for Lucifron.

Is Lucifron still part time ?

Also to each there own, i can respect Kas alot for he is willing to put all the time he has in the game, he might not be gods gift to Sc2 strat wise, but man do i respect his workethic.

I think the Duran brothers only play full-time during the summer (can someone confirm?). School and whatnot. :/

Currently yes, but Lucifron will go full-time after this semester I think.

well depending on what you study, how good you're at it the commitment varies a lot.
The best banshee control into huge deficit for Luci.

In some interview about 3 months ago Luci said one of them is taking very few classes and the other isn´t taking any at all. So that´s pretty much full time sc2.

No, I have lags now as well, was fine until about 15 min ago, though.

Living in lower Saxony, near the borders to netherlands, no problems here.

kinda big if you consider the viewer numbers of december

well if i see that the lol stream has 120-150k easily and sc2 events used to have 50-65k it doesnt feel like that much.

Compare the player base.

i dont know anything about the lol player base, would you mind comparing it for me? because i dont know what your point is.

Lol being a casual, free to play moba has a *much* bigger player base than a hard, competitive, relatively expensive RTS that SC2 is. There are, what, 35kk lol accounts? Let's assume there are 10 million people playing the game actively. That's easily 5x as much as SC2, and yet their stream numbers are only twice as big, at best. SC2 community is more engaged, passionate and, relatively to the player base, more active in terms of tournament following. I wish all the best to both the communities. What's important is that e-sports as a whole is growing

it's really good against banshees opening, if Luci doesn't do a lot of marine/hellion/medivac build it's quite safe. Dunno if Kas knows it or plays blindly tho.

He's studying computer sciences, my guess is that you better have a strong commitment.
