Honestly, I feel like balance has more to do with this than skill. Ultralisks are really, really strong right now, and Beasty doesn't do a lot of all-ins, so I see Machine taking this 4-1.

i'm guessing if you honestly think that Z > T atm in hots, your name is likely after the league you play in.

No. I am a Masters Protoss player. I've even played Beasty on ladder.

But my opinion is based on the limited watching of streams (Idra, Dragon and Thorzain when he streamed HOTS). So I'm almost completely ignorant regarding HOTS TvZ anyway, but it seems that late game Zerg has a nice advantage with Vipers and Ultras, they just have to get there. And Beasty doesn't all-in much and Machine is a very solid player. We'll see what happens.

As long as Beasty (ab)uses Hellbats every zerg will lose imo.

Hellbat drops on mineral lines with speedy Medivacs seem ridiculous to contend with. Was just watching Dragon try and defend them.

Hellbats and widow mines are a bit overpowered now, especially when combined with the medivac speed boost. Unless machine somehow abuses hatchery tech burrow to great effect, terran should enter mid/late game with a huge advantage.

Granted this is a "once in a while" game, but it still shows how epic late game TvZ can be on HOTS

if Machine doesn't ignore the new units and does not try to fight beasty with WOL tactics, I think he can do it, but goswser is correct, this will be an uphill battle for him =)

I haven't watched a whole lot of beta just yet, but this match-up definitely intrigues me - curious to see what both players have planned.. really hope machine can show good games, despite what appears to be an inherent racial disadvantage..!
