The time has come for the Contender group matches of the IGN Pro Team League 2013 Season 1!

Format

Contender Division Group A is made up of four teams: Fnatic, Acer, NsHoSeo, and inFDreamteam Gaming. Group B contains ROOT, FXO EU, and Complexity. Both groups will play round robin against each other team in their group. When group stages are over, the top two teams from each Group will have a chance in the Up and Down matches to join Premier Division. TSL disbanded and their results will not be considered for this season.

Wow, even though many of the people on Root's roster are semi inactive (but hopefully come back for HotS :D), it is impressive to see how much their roster has grown since their first iteration. Should be a close match; rooting for Root though.

Anything could happen, really. They're pretty close in skill, I guess, maybe an edge to FXO EU due to the BabyKnight/Lowely combo.

I missclicked and voted for ROOT although I think FXO will win. T_T

FXO has two of the top six players of WCS Europe. I don't see how ROOT can manage with both LoWeLy and mostly BBK.

FXO.EU is a bit comparable to Karont3, they lack a bit depth, but have the big 2 stars in Lowely and Babyknight.
Should be close.

Think ROOT will win but i have to say Babyknight is a beast. I know for a fact that some members in ROOT have problems beating him on ladder.

so that's most of fxo's heavy hitters out of the way can't see any one beating MaSa unless they get lucky he's just too good at tvz and tvt and their good protoss is already gone. going to bet on him killing the rest of fxo.
