When the time for engagements came however, Fanta did NOT do a good job of taking down JYP's colossi and wasted away far too many vikings and traded inefficiently. Eventually, JYP had too much of an army and Fanta couldn't kite forever. I want to contradict this just a bit. Most P players seem to be going double-upgrades in PvT right now, but JYP did not (well ok, second forge, but only late). He went for the single forge & a larger army, probably to battle the tendency of Kespa Terrans to get aggressive on two-base to bottle up the P relying on a colossus & force fields to live while going for an upgrade advantage. (The goal of this T aggression being to easily secure a third while deying the P a third. See Flash v. Hero.) As a result of his larger army, JYP forced his third up before Fantasy's third. Other than that JYP was very aggressive with blink & a few free vikings + good target firing in engagements meant that Fantasy's vikings were insufficient to wipe colossus counts. As a result JYP's four or 5 colossus became 2 after the initial engagements & Fantasy had no chance to deal with Colossus + HT when storm finished (rather than just HT because the vikings wiped the colossus). It went so well for JYP that I think he could have killed/hurt Fantasy earlier with a colossus timing, but JYP played safe instead. Overall, fantastic decision making against standard play by Fantasy rather than both players playing standard but one having notably better macro/micro. Really the only outright errors by Fantasy was overreacting to light zealot harass a few times.

Then again, if I were Hwanni I would have prepared every single one of my players to beat Rain.

Where did he fall into obscurity ? He was second best player on TL after round 1... Whay are some people still thinking that JYP is/was bad ?
