Not really, HerO just had a massive brain-fart. Expanding later than your opponent and not doing damage is a recipe for disaster that you learn in gold league. No idea how a Code S level player could scout an early nexus and then not pressure.

Nothing much to say about that game, seems that Dear knows HerO's scouting timing, and the fast expansion fits into the unscouting time window of HerO.

Team should be called EG-Taeja not EG-TL.

Said Fionn. Keyword there.

Anyone know the name of the song that plays during break? It sounds so familiar.

that was like a silver league performance from Hero

I could make some true, but unrelated comment that BW A-teamers are starting to show former BW B-teamers why they didn't make A-team in the first place... But that'd be asinine. How do you let your opponent expand pre5:00 in PvP without punishing or double expanding yourself?
C'mon HerO. You're better than this. That's what happens when you cut the wrong corners I guess... (slow) ling runbies PvZ and uncontested expos PvP leads to silly, demoralizing losses.

EG-TL was only the most experienced team coming into Proleague because most of their players had been playing SC2 for a long time.
That means absolutely nothing in Proleague though, because teams and their players will spend a whole week preparing specifically for their opponent.
EG-TL will most likely only do well during Winner's League

That was the worst game I've ever seen. He expanded way later than his opponent and did almost no damage either. Even Platinum leaguers know you can't do that. He had a bunch of useless sentries and you have blink, you have to go all in there. He tried, but Dear attacked at the same time, with better army and better eco.
That was way too late. When your opponent expands that early, you don't expand. You have blink and he has a bunch of sentries. You just make as many blink stalkers as possible and try to kill him. He expanded well after Dear's eco advantage.
HerO lost that game the moment he threw down the Nexus.

According to who? That was never the conventional wisdom.

Why? HerO, TaeJa, JD and JYP still have decent records ._.

Hopefully JYP plays better.

Dear pulls through for my FPL yet again. Now that I dumped STX from my FPL, watch them sweep EG-TL. Jerks.

should he stayed with 30 probes on one base, or was the game already lost at that point?

I mean fluid, natural, without a struggle to spit out words correctly. that's not what fluency means, I'm sure you can look up a word that more accurately conveys what you want to express flu·ent (flnt) adj. 1. a. Able to express oneself readily and effortlessly: a fluent speaker; fluent in three languages. b. Flowing effortlessly; polished: speaks fluent Russian; gave a fluent performance of the sonata. 2. Flowing or moving smoothly; graceful: a yacht with long, fluent curves. 3. Flowing or capable of flowing; fluid. This is exactly what I mean. yea he can express himself easily he's fluent in english.
