So if you spread your army like those 2 there, the opposition will just run through with their death ball and into your base. So you end up with death ball vs deathball. Try to imagine splitting your colossi in groups of 3 like that or Broodlords. You WILL get killed piece by piece. Same with spreading tanks in vP and vZ, you will just get run over. The ONLY big siege line we see in a macro game (the other siege lines are just contains) is in TvT. That is why TvT is like a cheese match while other match ups usually comes to blob vs blob. | ||

It's always been known as the best mirror matchup. That it may be the best matchup overall is a fairly new thing (like the last 6 months or so). Both TvZ and TvP have had their periods but the current state of the game have pushed TvT to the forefront. | ||
