Firstly, we would like to apologize for the delay in announcing this note about the incident that occurred in the last match, between Team xLs and Team Keyd. For some who do not know, after the end of the last game, some players on the Team Keyd accused xLs.Matanga of smurf, for lack of evidence at the time, it was not possible to conclude anything. However after analyzing more calmly, our suspicions increased and for our surprise, Thursday (17/01), the manager of the Team xLs, Berbatov, came to zGt TL administration and sent us the following message: "I just talked to the team and they confirmed they smurfed on the last game. I am deeply sorry for our behaviour on the team league, using an illegal way so we wouldn't be defeated by walkover. We would like you to tell us whats your position on this. We would gladly take a 4-0 loss, since we are dissappointed aswell. We, at xLs, consider ourselves as one of the top teams in latinamerica, and a walkover defeat would've been a really bitter loss so they decided (in a rush and not thinking it thoroughly) to smurf. Appart from this, we would like to state that we are happy to play in zGt league and dont want this to affect our participation in this nor the next leagues organized by your team. Sincerely, berbATOV." Considering that Berbatov was not online at the time and came to us soon as he became aware of the incident, because who decided to smurf were the present players, we decided to just punish the players involved instead of the entire team. So we decided that: The players xLs.Matanga and xLs.Odin are banned from zGtTL Season I and Season II; Final result of the Clanwar will be reverted, Keyd 4 vs 3 XLS; The team xLs will continue participating in the zGt TL; We believe, with this incident and its punishment, will serve as lesson to discourage other players or teams to cheat.
