in other news there are also coupons for ticketholders of GSL S4/S5 and GSTL S3 due to hurricane sandy

I wouldn't dare to bet on anything but Koreans taking it 5-0. That being said, I still think we'll see some great games.

Does anyone else think Nerchio and Lucifron would look like twins if they had the same hair?

Would have preferred Leenock Life Sniper/Hyun Bogus and PartinG/Squirtle as Korean Team
foreigner team is pretty much all the best people

How can you leave out RAIN?.. I mean cmon.. he is easily top 3 korean atm with Life and with the new GSL champ (one of those 4)

I think the maps selected were a slight bit partial. Naniwa gets to play on the protoss favoured Entombed Valley and Stephano is very good with his 3 base starts on Daybreak!
|
I think the world has a very good shot

Ehh... world is gonna have a real tough time. I think the Acer zergs and Steph could definitely win their matches, but Naniwa is playing his wrost mu and Luci is... well, terran lol.

The foreigners honestly have to win both of the first two rounds to have a shot in this whole thing. There isn't a player on that World team who can beat Life in a best of 3. Keep in mind the only person to do that in the last few months is Soulkey, who blatantly stated in his interview that he spent the whole week preparing for Life, and only Life.

Elfi went up 2-0 in TSL4 but lost 2-3 in the end. Elfi should have been on the world team!

Most probably going to be 4-1, with Nerchio being the biggest hope but Scarlett could upset as well.
I don't give any hope to Lucifron or Naniwa and recently Stephano hasn't looked all Stephano like.

Replace Nani/Lucifron or Scarlett with SEn and we would have a stronger team?

Ah, well, my interest has been rekindled then I just wish they had to balance the racial diversity a little bit, but, then again, other than lucifron and maybe throzain I don't think any other terrans currently fit into the tier of players currently on the WC team.

Whoever chose the matches for the foreign side did a really good job.

No player is at his peak right now, while several of them are in a deep slump. So I really expect a 3-2 for the international lineup. Life and Seed will take the points for korea, the rest goes to the world. To be fair, it is easier for the top Koreans to go into the slump because the skill gap is so small between the top 50 koreans compare top 50 foreigners.
This should be in the dictionnary as an example for the word "delusional"

Looks to me on the photos that the foreign team looks like a group a cool tourists, whereas the Korean look more like a death squad.
