hatch gas pool into double queen, no inject, into spine and bane nest before speed.
Boy oh boy, I picked Life and Leenock to advance, but Soulkey and Symbol really showing off that ZvZ remains unpredictable.

0:00min Leenock starts as the red Zerg in the top left location Symbol starts as the blue Zerg in the bottom right location 2:00min Leenock goes for quick Gas and Pool while Symbol goes for 15 Hatch 15 Pool 4:00min Symbol also adds a Gas and goes for fast Baneling Nest and skips Ling-Speed for now Leenock builds a Baneling Nest and starts producing only Lings now. He sends his first 6 cross map and mophs them into Banelings 6:00min Leenock rallies more Zerglings, Symbol builds a Spine Crawlers and defensive Banelings. Leenock gets the Banelings into Symbol's main and kills 6 Drones with them and expands back at home Symbol loses 2 Banelings to single Zerglings 10:00min Leenock takes the faster Lair and builds his Spire but Symbol scouts it Symbol builds an Infestation Pit, Roach Warren, Roach Speed and +1 Ranged Attacks

Well, Mvp did get 2nd (losing to MMA) a season after his third GSL. But code S is just competitive that you don't really have just one player that so much above the others that they can't lose on any given day. You have to wonder if there really isn't a player (or players) that could stand out though. What if there is a player who has the potential that but the reason he can't show it is that the game's skill cap is so low? The results seem to be just getting more and more random as time goes on. I don't know about that. Remember the dominate Mvp back in mid/late 2011 still was weak to Protoss. He was kind of lucky that Protoss was really weak during that era. Who know what would have happened if he had to play a couple more protosses. Remember, 1 bad day means you get eliminated. Also players are playing in a lot more tournaments with online cups, FC, team leagues, foreign online events. Back in 2011, if you did well in 2-3 GSLs, you appear unbeatable. However, now, even if you do well in GSL, you can still lose in qualifiers, MLGs, online team leagues, etc so players don't look as consistent. If you look purely at win rates, the top players are still in the 60ish% range. And I think SC2 has more 'counter' builds. A perfect example is PartinG v Polt G1 yesterday. I don't think Polt does that build again anyone else because it is just so bad vs the typical 2 base colo into expand. But it perfectly countered PartinG and there wasn't much he could do. I think even if he stayed in his base, Polt would have just traded and wore him down.

Don't see that happening here.
