Parting and Polt have always been two of the most fun players when it comes to games, and Sniper loves to go into the late game. Throw in Innovation's love of wonky timing attacks, and it should be fun. doesn't that mean ... BL infestor? :O

what we need is parting vs. mkp and life vs. creator in the semifinals at IPL so many storylines, including: -will creator beat life by ONE day to be the youngest GSL champion ever? -creator vs. life TSL4 rematch! tsl such a hipster tournament, bet many people would've liked to tune in now aye -will life not only royal road - but get the champs on his SECOND try too? -FOURTH time the charm for mkp? -MKP vs. PartinG in las vegas. need I say more? -will parting finally get his championship, after slowwwlyyy drawing closer each tournament? and, of course, prime vs. startale too

It's probably the 1st since IPL5 finals are on the 2nd, and it would be overkill to have two Bo7 major finals on the same night.

It's about a 3:1 factor weighted towards the general rating, though. Specifically, I take the mean of all matchup Elos, subtract them so that the matchup Elos have zero mean, and then scale them by 0.3 (number taken out of thin air.) Then add whatever rating to the general rating. The renormalizing by mean is to prevent situations where a player has matchup ratings all lower than his general rating (which doesn't make a lot of sense, but can happen), and the rescaling is because matchup ratings are based on a pool of fewer games, so I feel they hold less value.

Pretty sure he's just trying to keep him away from MarineKing. Like a protective father keeping suitors away from his daughter.

MKP has a really good positive record against parting (5-15 lol) - not so against zerg lolol
