He moved out at the weird timing to take some map presence/punish Ryung if he'd over-expanded; the fact that Ryung could take that initial fight meant he couldn't stop the subsequent timing that Vampire was really committing to. The maps structure of the nat/third is incredibly colossus friendly, so once Vampire got that position Ryung needed a miracle to come back, which he just didn't get. Vampire's play really being underrated there. He had an incredibly specific build (+2 weap +3 armor 4 coloss/archon timing, no storm/fourth transition) that he understood and executed about as well as he had to. Ryung just didn't read it/react in time. | ||
