GOM know how to do business
Pretty sure if Flash even makes it close to winning something he'll get a seed

And that is a fact. However BW and SC2 appeared to be different games. So the fact that BW pros are already serious in code A speaks for this article. Kespa's regime cannot be argued and now it is just a matter of time.
No one ever questioned that Kespa pros would catch up. But both the time frame and the number of players that would be better than all the GSL players are severely off. Thus, the article is wrong.
It would be like a stock analyst saying that market would go up by 200 tomorrow. And when it only goes up 50, they claim they are 'right' because it went up. It doesn't work that way.

Back in this thread. Did you get the guy who downvoted the Flash Ryung game? LOL!
So in the current discussion, I don't think you can take away the Royal Road from Flash yet. Code A seems like qualifiers to me for the main tournament. But people did count the Dual Tournament as part of the Royal Road, am I right?

Well, it won't be for THIS Code S since it starts before MLG.

I think so but ODT was Ro24 while even Code S itself is Ro32.

I hope they fix the streaming issue with the vods

Ah right. So yes, Code S is the only part of GSL that counts in the quest for a Royal Road.
Man, I'm still having a hang-over from the Ryung Flash game.

Bruce Lee won, congratulations seed!

SC2 is screwed guys. The game is stale and boring, takes no skill and needs to cater to casuals better.... oh hang on... thats not true. I just witnessed the best TvT ever, and it was the best by quite some margin.
It had all the things that people claim SC2 lacks, spread out battles all over the map, massive positional plays and excitement coming out its ass. My heart was pumping, my palms were sweating and I was jumping about in my seat, i haven't felt like that about sc2 in a long time. The elephants are here and they are helping push the game to new levels, their multi-tasking and mechanical skill is forcing the original sc2 players to push their boundaries. This season has seen some amazing changes in how the game is played, I can't wait to see more and more of this.
Thank god they finally switched. They might not be dominating, they may never dominate, but their mere presence is taking the game to new heights. If you watch only one game from the up and downs, watch Flash vs Ryung.... it was simply astounding.

if Flash doesnt get the Code S seed, we riot. After the amazing series in the past two weeks of vs Effort (5 star series) vs Soo (4 star series) and the TvT vs Ryung....and the crippling of the GSL champion.. very disappoint if he doesnt get it..and rewarded to someone like Soulkey or Soo..
But you can see why Flash struggles with TvT... I mean for TvZ, he has the KT Zergs, in TvP he has Stats... in TvT..he has freakin Mind and Barracks...

You never know what's there, let us hope for Barracks to dominate upcoming proleague!

if you failed at up and downs then you should not get a seed for the next season. Flash had his chance through that.(not hating him just think its fair)

Most people complaining about sc2 are doing so about ZvP/T match ups since the majority end up with no rush 20mins into broodfesters

I think Boxer may be the unsung hero with Rain's breakout - He's their coach and has known to run a team for years now, KT has Clide not so experienced at that I expect Woongjin Stars to make a breakout with them having Coach Ryu - who was MMA's personal coach when he won GSL.

OK, thanks. That makes sense. GSL Royal road is probably quite difficult then, even if you would get direct seed into code S. Pretty impressive stuff by Life. I hope Stephano will be the next one.

I'm not exactly following you here. Why should Flash get code S seed when he participated in up&downs and fell to Code A? It would be far more impressive if he (or anyone else for that matter) could win it "the hard way" instead of getting any seeds at all.
