I don't think Nestea is actually 'worse'. Others have gotten better and the maps and meta favor the longer games. Nestea is still a beast until the 13-15 minute mark. He destroyed Mvp today while Mvp used the same builds he did against Life. Of course, Nestea also practices a lot with Mvp and can predict his openings better.

yeah, but when the competition raises, you raise too or you go down, and he definitly became worse, just the combination of kespa players coming in, and the general competition increasing as well as nestea slumping is the reason why he doesnt appear code s level anymore

That's part of it but Nestea has seen better days. If you look closely at some of his games he's seemed to have lost his decision-making edge as well. Even with lesser mechanics there's no reason why he should be getting torn apart by Fantasy and Last in the early game, or letting Byun bunker block his ramp like a chump. There's no reason why you would roach drop a bio terran like he did against Puma at IEM. Or not have killed that god damn 4th base in the team league against Byul (never forgetting this one...).

I can imagine the finals when he's 2-0 up and everyone shouts JUST DONT WIN THIS GAME :D I think Nestea is guaranteed a seed but it's hard to see where the 2nd seed comes from - Sen has a shout making the WCS Finals from Asian bracket but not as big as a shout as others. Whilst I can see why they would seed NesTea, I can also see people rolling their eyes and claiming its a waste, especially if he gets KO'd in Ro32 or even Ro16. Others have gotten better and the maps and meta favor the longer games. Nestea is still a beast until the 13-15 minute mark. He destroyed Mvp today while Mvp used the same builds he did against Life. Of course, Nestea also practices a lot with Mvp and can predict his openings better. I'm now expecting someone to say Nestea is a PatchZerg - Where did you see this practice? And who's POV was it from? He didnt see the practice, they played a proper match, it should have been spoilered ;P
