Well like most people on zenex beyond life and suhosin proper exposure was incredibly limited, while TREME, pet and harrier were seen as the next up and coming sparta just kind of hung around, he'd sometimes get inserted in the place of harrier during the team league and he did go on a nice 3 kill streak in the KSL where zenex players randomly turned insane which was tails and aforementioned sniper and monster all decent games but that was quite a while ago (I miss KSL ) and since then I have a total sample size of absolutely nothing for sparta since that point except a few scattered results in obligatory EWMs and TSL qualifiers which were some TvT losses (Probable indication that TvT is his weakness he's only got two wins listed on TLPD overall) the only TvZ shown in Korea since then is a loss to bad ZvT player min in TSL4 qualifier and losses in IPL TAC3 qualifiers to vibe, chance and miso (I think miso switched to terran and joined slayers).

Most of the GSL players were B teamers in BW that made the switch to SC2 out of desperation. The Kespa players are superior RTS players, but lack experience. It won't be long before they rise to the top (many already have), can't really fault people from voting now.

Btw, GOM vs. KeSPA is in Code A is 6-5, 14-12 so far for GOM. Can GOM close it out or will KeSPA win the duel on this day? We'll see.

Betting on Oz in a PvP seems like an awful idea though ;o

Strangely enough, it was one of the best idea at around the beginning to mid of 2012... Until he proclaimed that "PvP is all about skill, not luck" and cursed himself.

I think you are over generalize all the ESF players a little bit here. I think there are some players who have talents but were still in B-Team and want to switch because there was more opportunity in the new game. Sure, many players are inferior to KesPA pro, but I would say not all of them.

outside of Rain, I dont think there has been one player that has been consistently Code S quality. We have seen flashes of greatness in many of them, but i have only seen one consistent one.

also many of the eSF players were really young for most of brood war and that doesnt mean they arent as good RTS players now, they just didnt have a chance to prove it in BW and a lot of eSF players were B-teamers or practice partners that had they not switched, some couldve made the jump to the A-team.

This.

In another reality where Brood War doesn't die, kids like Creator, Life and Maru would have been the next generation.

It's another Startale Code A day with Bomber, Sparta and Line. I hope at least Bomber can make it through. But I'd be happy to see Line stick around a while longer.
